As an active participant of “Life Buddies” Scheme, Vega has organized several activities for students from our partner school – Cotton Spinners Association Secondary School. This summer, we invited some students to go through formal application procedures, including application filling and a mock interview in June. It was so great to listen to their ideas and stories during the interview! After considering their strengths and interests, we assigned two students to work with our HR, Marketing and Supply Chain Teams for a week in July to gain hands-on experience and a chance to explore their vocational choices.
Vega hopes all participants enjoy working with us and consolidate their experience gained in the programme. We wish all of them a bright future!
“Life Buddies” is a youth mentoring scheme hosted by The Commission on Poverty aim at promoting mentoring culture in the community to help youth from disadvantaged background to move upward in society. Vega recognized the purpose of the scheme and joined this program since 2016.
