In 2018, South China Morning Post introduces a new corporate identity, signifying its evolution from a storied newspaper into a global media company. To synchronize with the new image, client also relocates its city office to Times Square in Causeway Bay and fostering a digital culture through a series of audio-visual enhancement. To ensure maximum exposure of information anywhere within the office, near 140 sets of displays with size ranging from 45" to 80" and 9 sets of full HD and ultra-short throw projectors were installed at different corners within the office, including open areas, social hubs, meeting rooms and training rooms. Multiple video sources will be distributed to those displays and projectors through the IPTV distribution system. For those rooms that require mutual communication, such as training room and boardroom, Bose speakers and Shure wireless microphones have been selected to fulfill the purpose. The overall control and management of the system were linked up by Atlona HD BaseT Matrix Switcher. The digital reorganisation ensures that all staff are keep exposed to abundant of information at anytime, and it can also ease their effort to share information with each other. By fostering the digital culture, SCMP is able to create an integrated organization, agile environment and joyful workplace for their staff, which in turn fostering the productivity of the company.
