The CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC) is a non-profit, private teaching hospital wholly owned by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The project covers a 14-story building including over 20 meeting rooms, interactive rooms, auditoriums, training rooms, management offices, lobby, and nearly 500 digital notice boards throughout the hospital. Coming up with the concept of a digitalized, CUHKMC wanted Vega to put more innovative elements in the building ─ the first “Smart Hospital” in Hong Kong has been then established.
To turn CUHKMC into a high-performance hospital, Vega provided the Crestron Fusion to the client to easily monitor and control the AV systems throughout the building. The software provides powerful tools, including network room scheduling remote control help desk, device monitoring, and data collection and reporting.
