Hong Kong, 23 November 2022 - Vega Global attended the 3-day InfoComm Southeast Asia 2022 show at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok, Thailand. This was the first in-person exhibition after its launch in 2019. At the booth, Vega Global, together with its partners, Crestron, Microsoft, Sennheiser, Philips Jabra, Le Grand and XY Sense, highlighted innovative videoconferencing, and UC (Unified Collaboration) technologies and solutions to visitors from across The Asia Pacific Region such as Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

“Following on from our participation at InfoComm India show in September 2022, we are delighted to mark our first opportunity to exhibit at this SEA focused show. At this event we are focusing on networking and marking our presence in the Asia Pacific market. We also showcased technologies for corporate spaces such as occupancy sensors, space density software and digital signage” explained Huaming Gu, Chief Executive Officer, Vega Global.

“In the build-up to the show, we also held our annual strategy meeting for our regional country managers and senior sales staff. As we have been restricted to collaborate via videoconferencing during the past 3 years due to the pandemic, this was the perfect way to rebuild the bonds among our team members and create the opportunity to share key business updates with our partners, suppliers, and customers in the fast-evolving Pro-AV industry” continued Gu.

Vega Global also partnered with Disguise, Christie, Panasonic, BenQ and Lighting & Equipment to build an integrated showcase called ‘The Future of Immersive Experiences’. The 15x5 square-metre walk-though experience gave visitors a glimpse into the future of visual and immersive storytelling, which converges art, technology, and sensory experiences. The showcase was divided into three zones, ‘The Gateway to the Metaverse’ featured real-time generative effects based on user interaction; ‘The Next-level of Projection Mapping’ brought a carlike object to life with effects and animation; and ‘A New Holographic Experience’ showcased the Pro-AV technology that is increasingly applied to the Location Based Experience (LBX) industry, such as experience centers, theme parks, theatres, and live performances.

At the InAVate APAC Awards 2022, Vega Technology was named the winner of the 'Education' project category with The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Barco WeConnect Virtual Lecture project which transformed its operation to being able to deliver hybrid education. While Matthew Deayton, Vega Global’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, was named 'APAC AV Icon of the Year'. These industry accolades reaffirm Vega's position as a market leader and demonstrates the commitment Vega has to the industry and clients.

'We are thrilled and honored to receive these prestigious endorsements at the InAVate APAC Awards 2022, we will continue to work closely with our clients and partners to bring a new level of flexibility in collaboration solutions to meet the customer’s needs and help them succeed in the digital era” said Deayton.
