Job Description :
- Project Execution: Oversee and manage the implementation of AV projects according to design documents and project timelines.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth field execution.
- Technical Oversight: Supervise on-site installation of AV systems to ensure compliance with design standards and quality requirements.
- Pre-Installation Review: Review drawings, device specifications, and material readiness before installation begins.
- Testing & Commissioning: Collaborate with system engineers to conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation such as progress reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents (BAST).
- Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, report issues, and troubleshoot technical obstacles in the field.
- Client Interaction: Act as a technical point of contact with clients during project implementation.
- Project Coordination: Skilled at managing technical tasks and site coordination.
- Problem Solving: Quick to assess and resolve technical problems in the field.
- Communication: Able to clearly convey technical information to clients and team members.
- Time Management: Strong discipline in handling timelines and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Precise in technical documentation and on-site supervision.
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment.
Job Requirements :
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in AV or ICT projects, preferably in system installation or integration.
- Familiar with AV equipment such as displays, projectors, speakers, DSPs, switchers, AV-over-IP, and control systems.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, etc).
Technical Knowledge:
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of AV signal flow, structured cabling (HDMI, CAT6, audio), and basic power distribution.
- Experience in on-site work: installation, quality control, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with project implementation methods (BOQ, WBS, project scheduling) is a plus.
